1. Clean the floor
Before applying the renovator, clear the room and clean the floor thoroughly. Use a deep cleaner that removes built-up layers, such as our POLIBOY Deep Cleaner.
2. Mop head
Use a mop system with a suitable mop head. Do not use cloths that shed fibres or absorb too much liquid.
3. Dampen
Moisten the mop head before use and wring it out היט so that it is damp but not dripping.
4. Apply
Apply POLIBOY Renovator evenly in sections, using a strip-like motion (approx. 100 ml per 5 m² – undiluted). Do not treat the entire floor at once; work step by step.
5. Spread
Use the mop to distribute the product evenly across each section. IMPORTANT: always mop in the direction of the (wood) grain or along the length of the floorboards. Try to avoid lifting the mop and make sure no areas are missed. Do not go over areas that have already started to dry.
6. Edges
Carefully go over edges and corners to ensure the entire floor is evenly coated.
7. Drying
Do not walk on the floor for at least two hours after application – ideally leave it to dry overnight. The floor should only be fully used again after 24 hours (e.g. moving furniture, mopping, etc.). The longer the floor is allowed to dry, the stronger the protective effect will be.
